WP 2 ACTIVITYPLAN:

2010

MS1 May- August 2010

  • The first WP team meeting is arranged in Östergötland, SE.
  • The WP team goes through the work and divide the tasks. This is also the start for the work of collecting statistics and information of the current situation for the BACES economies.
  • An Info day for entrepreneurs is realised at each BACES.
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

Outputs:
One WP team meeting, one Info day at seven BACES and one WP 3 progress report.

MS2 September-December 2010

  • A cross-border seminar and WP team meeting is arranged in West Uusimaa region, FI.
  • Each partner reports on the current situation for BACES economy: Broadening of economic activities, sustainable tourism, marketing activities, development of infrastructure, services and logistics.
  • The team starts the work with development strategies. What are possible development areas of the economies? What are connected and needed information from WP 2 and WP 4?
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

One cross-border seminar, one WP team meeting, seven reports on current BACES economy and one WP 3 progress report.

2011

MS3 January-April 2011

  • One technical WP team meeting is arranged.
  • Each partner reports of partner development strategies for own BACES area and the cross-border added values.
  • The identification of possible business development and cross-border strategies in the BACES is started.
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

Outputs:
One technical WP team meeting, seven reports on BACES economy development strategies and one WP 3 progress report.

MS4 May-August 2011

  • A WP team meeting takes place in Söderhamn, SE.
  • The work is concentrated to implementation of the development strategies.
  • Each partner reports on business development and cross-border strategies are developed.
  • Each partner starts networking on regional and local level.
  • Study visits and a “best practice” seminar is arranged at the same time as the WP meeting in Söderhamn with workshops on training and development for growth and jobs in the BACES areas.
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

Outputs:
One WP team meeting, one seminar and study visit event, seven reports on business development, cross-border strategies and one WP 3 progress report.

MS5 September – December 2011

  • A cross-border seminar and WP team meeting is arranged in Hiiumaa region, EE. Focus is still on the continued implementation of development strategies.
  • A training seminar and study visit for entrepreneurs for development of growth and jobs is arranged at the same time as the cross-border seminar. Some examples of themes are: How to generate “hospitality”? How to package?
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

Outputs:
One cross-border seminar, one WP team meeting, one study visit and training seminar and one WP 3 progress report. 

2012

MS6 January – April 2012

  • A technical WP work meeting is arranged.
  • Each partner continues with implementation of development strategies.
  • In all seven BACES studies for cooperative marketing of the BACES areas and economy are started.
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

Outputs:
One technical WP team meeting and one WP 3 progress report.

MS7 May - August 2012

  • A WP team meeting is arranged in West Uusimaa region, FI.
  • The partners follow up and evaluate the implementation of development strategies and report their studies for cooperative marketing.
  • At the same time as the WP team meeting study visits to West Uusimaa takes place.
  • Each partner presents dissemination activities in their region.
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

Outputs:
One WP team meeting, seven reports on cooperative marketing, one study visit occasion, seven dissemination activities and one WP 3 progress report.

MS8 September – December 2012

  • The third cross-border seminar and WP work meeting takes place in Östergötland, SE.
  • The idea of an archipelago and islands fair for entrepreneurs in the Central Baltic region is worked on. This contributes to the BACES project network is sustainable even after the project ends.
  • Continued dissemination activities are at hands in each BACES region.
  • One WP 3 progress report is produced in the end of the Ms.

One cross-border seminar, one WP team meeting, seven dissemination activities and one WP 3 progress report.
 
2013

MS9 January – April 2013

  • A final WP team meeting takes place in Östergötland, SE.
  • The team concludes the findings from the BACES project and plan for future networking after the project end.
  • A draft of a final WP 3 project report is presented.

Outputs:
One WP 3 team meeting, a networking plan and one draft final WP 3 report.
